medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I have no information or strong views on the dating, except that they are
what remains of the depredations of 1814. The screen is customarily dated
pre-Reformation, but only just. I would not put anything here post-Reformation,
because the church lost its collegiate status and most of its funds and
clergy in 1546 or so, and nothing much happened here building-wise for hundreds of
years thereafter. That it stayed standing is the main wonder.
