In North Lincolnshire we have been asked to look at ways to increase our
number of active borrowers.
We have undertaken and promoted a number of successful refurbishments over
the last couple of years and increased opening hours. While these have
helped to raise performance generally, they have not resulted in any major
increase in the overall number of active borrowers.
Has anyone else undertaken any major schemes or incentives that you would
be willing to share, which were particularly effective in improving active
borrower numbers.?
We are also trying to find out more about why people borrow particular
materials, or if they are not a borrower what could we do differently that
might induce them to start borrowing. Does anyone have a qualitative exit
survey along these lines which they would be willing to share?
Any replies would be appreciated.
Thank you
