Isn't Winchester relatively rich in stone-cage chantry chapels? It is now, of course,
difficult to gauge the preponderance of burials in most medieval churches after
considerable "house-cleaning" in the 17th and 18th centuries. Many French
cathedrals were chock full of burials up to that time.
