Sorry I wasn't very clear in my original message - what I meant by "cc
mail" was carbon copies or mail sent to the recipient for "information
only".
There is probably a case for not CC-ing emails to people who don't have
any real imput but need to be kept "in the loop" as it were. Our feeling
is that we should develop a corporate clause for both out of office and cc
mail responses - the user only has to fill in the blanks. Are we within
our rights to do this? Out of office messages apply to all internal and
some external mail. I dread to think what some people think of the tone
of some of the messages.
Apologies if I confused anyone!
