medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Thank you so much, as usual, for your help and insights -- even Jon's
fevered imagination! (A woman? With that chin?!) I shall pursue this one: the
VCH (Victoria County History) project for Cornwall is surveying all the
mediaeval pew-ends in the county (amongst other things) for an online resource, so
it should be fairly simple to find whether there are wyverns elsewhere in
such profusion (assuming the other people involved know a wyvern when they see
it -- which of course I didn't until y'all put me on the right track).
