I received the question above from a friend. I responded that Isaiah 2: 1-5 was
commonly read at the first Sunday of Advent (so Roman Missal and Book of Common
Prayer), but does anyone know for sure whether the lectionary in medieval N.
France was different? What's the best source for this?
