>If you go to Google books:

applied to books you can see in their entirety. Many of these can now be
downloaded as image .pdf files (not all, unfortunately).
>....that suggests someone who didn't know very much glanced at a library
catalog record for the journal and in ignorance picked that as the main entry.
browsing around this site does indeed turn up some amazing things.
thanks John.
however, lest we all think that it is now safe to send off all our hard copies
to the recycling yard, a closer look suggests that we may not have *quite*
arrived yet at the Paperless Lieberry.
i came across Beaunier's _Archives de la France monastique_, a pretty handy
reference work, and quite a scarce one.
alors and alas, while much of it is going to be legible, some pages are only
there "en principe".
a case in point is this one (expand the image as it opens in your browser
window by placing the cursor anywhere on it and clicking the expansion ikon
which appears in the lower right corner) :
http://books.google.com/books?id=HZmGcKryD5YC&pg=PA237&img=1&zoom=3&q=bordas+chateaudun&hl=en&sig=3XhRYyQC9_ccaOYAPVwYZxdiowc
oppps....
now, while the whole page is, indeed, there, the lower right half is
illegible.
"en principe" is a loverly Concept.
it allows for Grande Idees conceived by geniuses to be executed by fools, so
that the latter can fulfill their Daily Production Quota.
