With reference to Paul Burkitt's suggested list of books, we would just
like to add that a cautionary rejoinder to the subjective Brenneman book
can be found in Michael P. Carroll, IRISH PILGRIMAGE: Holy Wells and
Popular Catholic Devotion (Johns Hopkins University Press, 1999). Well
worth reading.
Also it's good to see that Katy is still around - and thanks for rescuing
the Source and LSJ archives.
