The principal claimant is the collegiate church of the BVM at at
Amaseno (FR) in southern Lazio. In my longer post in this thread
yesterday, I discussed this relic and provided links to more views of
it than most would care to see. San Gregorio Armeno in Naples has an
extensive collection of blood relics, among which is one said to be
from Lawrence. But I've not seen it and do not know whether it too
(like the one at Amaseno) is largely "grease".
