medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Does the Aberdeen Breviary not have a rubric on this? Usually it says if
the feast is celebrated differently in a particular cathedral or diocese,
and I presume (possibly foolishly) that in the case of diocesan patrons the
solutions offered in the Aberdeen Breviary would represent established use.
(Forgive me if you've already checked and are emailing the list precisely
because Bishop Elphinstone was silent on the matter!)
