DECISIONS IN HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE, EDINBURGH, 19 SEPTEMBER 2006
NHS Quality Improvement Scotland and the Health Services Research Unit,
University of Aberdeen, are jointly hosting a conference “Decisions in
Healthcare” at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on Tuesday 19 September 2006.
This conference will explore the use of evidence in decision making for
NHSScotland and speakers will include Professors Gerry Fowkes (Edinburgh),
Andrew Briggs (Glasgow) and Norman Waugh (Aberdeen) on how to use evidence
for health decision making, and Andy Oxman of the Norwegian Knowledge
Centre for the Health Services will lead a discussion ‘Evidence informed
decision making – better value health care’.
