Except that the Dissolution of the Monasteries was quite a long drawn-out
affair. And the dissolution of the chantries and colleges was a later,
separate event. In Scotland, everyone is agreed that the Reformation
happened 'in' 1560, but there was no Dissolution of the Monasteries - they
just faded away!
