Not sure yet.

Using SwitchMaps will itself involve heavy restructuring, and even if the
AGI-time went down to zero, it would still only give us a 25% run-time
improvement.
Basically, I think my advice to re-use LINPLOT code was wrong. It made for
easier coding, but resulted in sluggish performance.
And yes, any restructured version should still write a suitable Plot to
the AGI data base so cursor can do its stuff.
