The first of these two sites (chosen for their visuals) adheres to the
passe' views that this structure was built by Constantine and that it
was "the first Christian baptistery ever built". As the other site
notes, it's now thought much more likely that the Lateran Baptistery was
built by Sixtus III in the fifth century.
