Richard.
Take a look at the Explorer 1:25,000 maps in the University of Worcester
collection. The publication dates range from 1999 to 2004. The Landranger
collection more recent additions are 2004 publications. Having said that, I
would not argue the content of data with regard to the TOID system referred
to and, that larger scale folded maps produced with the quality of the O.S.
would be a great welcome to ramblers and geographers alike. My own personal
problem is that so much mapping is now available from ready made software
which is a deathnell to the likes of myself working in a small institution.
Probably explains why so many paper maps from UoW and others, now surplus to
requirements are being hawked around the world rather put on a skip!
