I posted a message a couple of weeks ago - many thanks to all of you who replied. Many of you mentioned Runescape - www.runescape.com - as a good, free site to try, and many of your users are playing this game on an ad-hoc, drop-in basis.
This site was also mentioned: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoopList as this has a list of free open source games that can be downloaded.
What we will do is advertise a particular time, probably early evening, for a game playing session. We will have one of our IT assistants on duty to help out, as well as the library staff who are on duty that day. I will let you know how it goes.
Regards
Lucy
