The University of Durham Department of Geography is looking to dispose of
much of its international map collection by the beginning of July. They
would welcome any librarians/curators who wanted to visit and take away
whatever they want from the collection (this offer includes the map chests
in which the maps are held). These would be free to any legitimate user.
If you would like to visit please contact Dr Mike Bentley, Dept of
Geography, [log in to unmask], tel. 0191-334-1859. Mike will be out
of the office next week; if you wish to visit then please contact Derek
Hudspeth (0191-334-1910).
A list of the areas covered can be found below.
