Hi marina,
There's an excellent oecd report published in 2003, "Transforming Disability into Ability: Policies to Promote Work and Income Security for Disabled People". Its prescriptions may not be everybodsy's cup of tea - very keen on welfare to work policies, but as an accessible source of comparative data on labour market participation among disabled people across all developed economies, it is hard to beat. Find it at:
http://www1.oecd.org/publications/e-book/8103021E.pdf
If you download it as an html file, you can copy and paste the tables.
Hope it meets your needs,
best wishes,
nick

Subject: Employment rate for disabled people in Europe
Dear collegues,
I am conducting a resarch regarding the need for education for the disabled
people (especially deaf and blind people). The main idea is that people with
higher edducation have better jobs then people with lower education and
people with disabilities do not find jobs because some of them are lack high
edducation due to access problems that do not allow them to attend univerity
courses. But until now I did not found any official statistic regarding the
rate of unemployment and disability. Can anyone tell me where can I find
such statistic data?
I will appreciate any help you can give me.
Sincerly yours,
Marina Muscan
