Volunteers needed for research project
Want to help with research on Developmental Coordination Disorder?
Dr Elizabeth Hill is interested in hearing from families with children with
developmental coordination disorder (DCD, sometimes known as dyspraxia),
and/or from adults with DCD themselves, who would like to take part in her
research project.
"We are interested in a range of things such as, how we feel our bodies, how
we plan our movements, how we undertake day-to-day activities and how
self-esteem and anxiety affect our movement skill. This project is based at
Goldsmiths College, part of the University of London. There are two separate
parts to the study. In part one, we would visit you and ask you/your child
to complete some fun tasks. Part two is a postal study, so you can help us
to understand DCD better from the comfort of your own home!"
