That sounds like a sketchy claim. Maybe this is an overly obvious idea - but what about writing to
this Mr. Sorenson and asking to see his data that he has that backs up this claim. Presumably if
he's saying about 80% he has compiled some sort of list of the faculty of European business
schools and where the got their PhDs - and thus such list would confirm the veracity of the claim.
If there is no such list or compilation of data, if this percentage was just pulled out of thing
air, well then it's just a figure that someone ivented cause it sounded good and supported their
argument.
