Dear all,
according to the US Chronicle of HE on the forthcoming shortage of faculty in
B-Schools (bring it on), it says
"For all their talk of cooperation, business schools in the United States and
Europe are often competing for the same scarce supply of potential faculty
members who hold business-related doctorates. In fact, about 80 percent of the
faculty members in European business schools hold doctorates from American
universities, [AACSB International Chairman (sic)] Mr. Sorensen noted.
Bizarre, and wants challenging - but where to begin ? What rationale might
underpin this claim, and does anyone know of any data which might contradict?
