medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Yogh is not Old English. Rather it is Middle English. It looks like the numeral
"3," but does not sit "on the line." The lower part of it goes below the line,
that is, as a decender.
Yogh is in the font suitcase "Junius," which you can download for free from
Peter Baker's website at the University of Virginia. It comes in both a
Macintosh and a Mircrosoft version. Yogh cannot not be sent by email, at least
unless it is HTML email, and the recpient's computer has that font as an active
font.
His website for the font downloads is
<http://www.engl.virginia.edu/OE/#fonts>
The original Junius fonts were designed for word processing, not for email.
(Note: On a very few computers, the Thorns and Edhs at the top of this email
may not display properly.)
Hope this solves the problem,
Terrill Heaps
