We are hoping to set up a Books on Prescription service in North Tyneside
Libraries shortly. We have our bookstock already, but could anyone advise
on how they link up with local GPs, and how the doctors actually prescribe
the appropriate titles. Is a specially designed Books on Prescription form
necessary?
How was the service publicised in the medical community, and were GPs keen
to take part?
I would be very grateful for any suggestions or ideas.
