Bournemouth University is offering 80 fully funded PhD studentships across a range of subject areas.
The Archaeology and Historic Environment Group in the School of Conservation Sciences invites applications from candidates for the following projects:
* Animal exploitation during later prehistory in Southwest Britain
* Zooarchaeology of Medieval Northeastern Europe
* Coastal industries in prehistoric and Roman times
* Lithics in the Landscape
* Archaeological geophysical prospection in peatland environments
Successful applicants will be offered an annual stipend of £12,500 per annum and waiver of tuition fees for three years, commencing Autumn 2006. There are a limited number of non-EU Studentships available.
