Dr Angela Gallop, Director of Forensic Science of LGC Ltd, describes the
current provision of forensic science services to law enforcement agencies
in the UK and the disciplines types of forensic scientists involved. She
considers some important principles that underlie their work and illustrates
these with reference to real cases.
