An illness has crept into the world of Plagiarism. Just take a look at
the insipid and pathetic arguments contained in that article from the
Washington Post. Every prejudice is there, anti capitalism is there,
tree huggers are there, confusion over the legality of utillities such
as Turnitin is there.
Is there anything missing from the article? Well, yes, actually there
is: the right of the academic community to set, monitor and maintain
standards.
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
