Jean,
I have been using Yojimbo for a few months now, as a freeform
database in which I can keep snippets of text, websites etc. and the
occasional image. Searching is OK, and it is quick and simple to
use. Mac based of course. Bare Bones software http://www.barebones.com
Incidentally they also make the text editor, BBedit, that I use for
DRN. Works wonderfully in cleaning up and reformatting text for
publication.
