Dear Gavin and all,
Last fall, Joao Lutz invited me to deliver a research writing workshop at the
3rd International Conference on Design Research in Rio de Janeiro.
For the workshop, I prepared two documents. One contains the slides for the
main workshop. While this is primarily rubrics and headlines, it offers
useful information in terms of issues, topics, and skills. The other is an
article on citation and reference, with useful information on a detailed
level.
While I've been meaning to revise and improve these further, they are
available in their current state for anyone who wishes them as PDF files.

The faculty of design at Swinburne Uni (AUS) nees to firm up its
coursework research methods and writing one semester program for new
design research students. I have developed programs like this for
engineering and medicine but I would like to know if British or American
colleagues have examples of how this is done in other institutions as I
want to remodel the curriculum. Many thanks.
