NODEM 06 Digital Interpretation in Cultural Heritage, Art and Science
Museums

NODEM 06 invites museum designers, curators, interaction designers,
system designers etc. to submit exhibition proposals and posters to the
conference and the NODEM Award 2006.
NODEM 2006 will have an exhibition space available in connection to the
conference area. It will be the perfect place
* to show demonstrations of research project results
* to have hands-on experience with prototypes of on-going projects
* to present institutions and their activities and perspectives
* to discuss new collaborations
The posters will be presented in poster sessions clearly defined in the
programme – and posters will be placed in the exhibition space.
There is space for 20-30 exhibitors.
Participation in the exhibition will only be charged with conference
fee.
NODEM will provide power outlets, wireless network, poster walls, and

In the proposal indicate:
· Name of organisation
· Title of exhibit
· Type of exhibiting organisation (publisher, NL software, tools, etc.)
· Short description of the objects to be exhibited/demonstrated
· Organisational contact for exhibits/demonstrations: (name, address,
email, telephone and fax)
· Name(s) and/or number of person(s) exhibiting/demonstrating (if
relevant)
* Required space
Deadline for proposal for exhibitions: October 15, 2006.
The NODEM Award will be voted for by the conference participants and
will presented on the last day of the conference. This year the
conference participants will vote for the “Best Design of Digital
Experiences in Museums”.
