I am pleased to announce the public debut of "MIML: Musical
Instruction and Musical Learning, 1450-1650," a web-based
bibliography of secondary literature. MIML stems from a larger
collaborative research project funded by the NEH: "Reading and
Writing the Pedagogy of the Renaissance: Students, Teachers, and
Materials of Musical Learning, 1520-1650."

The initial page of MIML hosts a search engine and links to the
introduction ("About"), the bibliographic overview ("Overview"), and
the various options for navigating the roughly 250 citations. To
browse the entire bibliography, click on "all citations"; for access
by category, click on "search options." One can also search by
author, by keyword, or by partial title (or even partial word) using
the search box provided near the bottom of each page.
