Call for Papers.
Papers are invited for the Second International Conference on Orthodox
Church Music, "Composing and Chanting in the Orthodox Church", to be held
at the UNiversity of Joensuu, Finland, 4 - 10 June 2007, for which further
details and a preliminary list of speakers may be found below.
Papers should be no longer than 20 minutes in duration. Please send
proposals to Ivan Moody at [log in to unmask] or Maria

The Second International Conference on Orthodox Church Music
"Composing and Chanting in the Orthodox Church"
4 - 10 June 2007
The Conference takes place at the University of Joensuu, Finland. The
programme includes a concert of Orthodox church music by contemporary
composers and an excursion to the monasteries of New Valaam and Lintula.

LANGUAGES
The language of the conference will be English.
Simultaneous translation into English will be provided for papers
presented in Russian or Ukrainian.
Translation into Russian or Ukrainian will be provided, if needed.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee for the conference, which includes participation in
the programme, meals and refreshments will be announced in due course.
