PRESENTERS:
Thom Richardson, Keeper of European Armour and Oriental Collections, Royal Armouries; currently engaged on PhD research programme with York University examining and interpreting early inventories of the Tower of London.
Bob Woosnam-Savage, Curator of Edged Weapons, Royal Armouries; working with University of Leeds Institute for Medieval Studies and its International Medieval Congress in which the Royal Armouries actively participates.
Antonia Lovelace, Curator of Anthropology, Leeds Museum Resource Centre.
will speak on behalf of her own and colleagues work with Leeds and other universities and the potential role of the new Resource Centre.
Ralph Moffat, University of Leeds AHRC Collaborative PhD student researching medieval tournaments, working on a fifteenth-century manuscript in the Royal Armouries Collections.
David Starley, Scientific Officer, Royal Armouries, who has carried out various projects in collaboration with a range of universities, mainly in the archaeological sciences but also touching upon forensics.
