portfolio
Weinheim, December 15, 2006— Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
KGaA announced today that it has acquired publishing assets
from PJ Barnes & Associates and will assume publishing for
the international news and review journal Lipid Technology
as of January 2007. The acquisition enhances Wiley-VCH’s

Science Journals, Wiley-VCH GmbH & Co. KGaA. “This

Lipid Technology offers the latest worldwide developments
in the science, technology, markets and commerce of
oilseeds, fats, oils, and other lipids. Lipid Technology

age, the resources of a leading major publisher have become
essential to the journal’s continuing success”, says Dr.
