Hi Sandra,
I agree with you re: the IP address looking as though it needed to be
re-recorded for each account number and the fact that once you've registered
it (them) you aren't able to view it again.
As always the proliferation of account numbers and institutional "names"
provides some minor relief!
What's quite interesting is there are several journals according to the
administration area that we have full access to on the new site, which we
cancelled many years ago! I guess this will now require more work for us to
get this sorted? Also I don't understand why each title appears several
times, one of our subscriptions appears 17 times saying all articles? What's
this all about?
It would be useful if we could merge each account into the one account - we
have 5 accounts - has anyone figured out if this is possible? - I've got one
journal appearing under more than one account, which means I have to shuffle
backwards and forwards between these accounts in the administration area.
Cheers
Lesley

Thanks Dominic. At least that saved me creating a new username/password for
each.
Very intuitive, I'm sure!
Where does it now show you what IP addresses are recorded? I can't find it
under any of the tabs.
It looked to me as if it wanted the IP addresses to be keyed in again for
each one, but I didn't do this as you said it wasn't necessary, but I would
like to check.
None of the links to the journals (or the Librarians tab) seem to work at
all.

Hi Sarah
I followed the instructions for my first activation. For subsequent
activations I remained logged on, clicked on Access, submitted the access
token, and got an error message!
<<Access token was not found. Click here to activate an institutional
account.>>
I did as suggested and clicked through, repeated the Institutional account
activation process, ie: yes (to the agreement), submit the activation code.
I found that that was all that was necessary.
It wasn't necessary to re-enter IP range(s).
Each time a code is activated, a link is added to the "Profile". Now I just
have to find the new URLs...
Best wishes
Dominic Benson

Hi
Have others received emails about MIT Press journals moving from ingenta?
I've just received 6 of these (probably more to follow), detailing a long
complicated procedure to activate our subs., consisting of registering,
logging in and then activating. Each has a different customer number and
appears to require the creation of a different username and password, and
repetition of the procedure, for each one.
What a nightmare!
