The Dardennes are fairly self-consciously Bressonian in their use of 'models'. Luc Dardenne's book talks a little about Bresson but not much as far as I can remember. And - relying again on memory - I think they have said that they watch 'Un condamne a mort s'est evade' (English title?) before shooting each of their films.
