I was watching this series just last night (you can just tune in to
any ep of '24' and get into it).
SPOILER: the Arab/American bombers were doing the work of an arms
company. And two muslim guys who ran a gun shop decided to help Jack
against the arms company's mercenaries precisely because of all the
post-9/11 demonization of Islam.
Which complicates (albeit clumsily) the picture a bit.
