I think it is in W. Herzog's "Wo die grünen Ameisen träumen" where one
Aboriginal is called to the court as a witness. He speeks in a strage
language nobody understands. When someone (the judge, if my memory serves me
well) asks for a translation he is told that the man is the last of his
tribe and the last person who speaks the language. This is one of the most
chilling sequences I have ever seen on screen.
