I feel I may have some authority on this issue seeing as I'm an
undergraduate myself at LSU-BR, that dirty dirty-Jig City. Some of these
may not quite qualify and I don't know if you're looking for an early film
on the early film industry or the time of production doesn't matter.

-Schlesinger's Day of the Locust
-That loveable little Tramp's A Film Johnny (1914), or better still,
Behind the Screen (1916)
-Sturges' Sullivan's Travels
As a young-louisianian-blood, I'd would not walk out in the middle of your
introduction if you played one of these pictures.
