But Adrian, last I read, smoking was being banned all over the Gold
Coast and Beyond! (Just as it is in San Diego...) Seriously, though,
the new black comedy and Toronto hit THANK YOU FOR SMOKING will be a
kind of cinematic Ground Zero for the smoking issue on screen this
year. In an amusing aside, when the film screened at the recent Santa
Barbara film festival, the catalogue mistakenly re-titled it as THANK
YOU FOR NOT SMOKING!
