Just to point out that rumours and Zizek go together often and perhaps
should not always be believed, especially considering his self-
confessed talent for deceit.
I would say, however, that Zizek's analyses do create problems because
(among other things) of their numerous 'errors'; are these the mistakes
of a wild psychoanalysis? A (cultural) therapist in practice? Refusing
mastery? Laziness? It's interesting that in Organs without Bodies he
had the cheek to chide film scholars (especially of Hitchcock) for
making so many mistakes! It made me laugh ... but then was it a joke?
