Iīm not 100% up-to-date, but last year the German
novelist Birgit Vanderbeke announced that her latest
book - Sweet Sixteen - would be the basis of a film
(shot by her son). Itīs about teenagers leaving home
(disappearing on their 16th birthday) and the first
thing they do is getting rid of their cell-phones so
they canīt be located by the police (and to say
goodbye to the sphere of adults).
