Dear colleagues,
we invite you to this year’s „Berlin Conference on the Human Dimensions
of Global Environmental Change”.
The 2006 conference will be the sixth event in the series of annual
European Conferences. This year’s discussions will address the theme
‘Resource Policies: Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Equity’. The
conference will be held at the Freie Universitaet Berlin from 17-18
November 2006.
Around 100 papers are expected for presentation at the conference.
Scientists, practitioners and politicians from more than 30 countries
will be meeting for this two day event at the Freie Universitaet Berlin
to discuss the most recent trends and future guidelines for resource
policies.
The Conference will be dealing with the following topics
- Management of Resources: Agriculture, Biodiversity, Fishery, Forestry,
Water

- Participatory Approaches in Resource Policies
