Dear colleagues,
We are currently working on a review of evidence about students' engagement and commitment to recycling and waste reduction in targeted
school programmes and general school life.
In more detail, three areas will be covered:
- effective pedagogic practices leading to engagement and commitment
e.g. studies that consider positive and negative factors and contexts
- significant infrastructure conditions enabling such engagement and commitment
e.g. barriers and enablers in settings in formal, non-formal or informal education
- effective transfer/interchange of relevant behaviour from school to home, and vice-versa
e.g. programmes, activities or conditions that foster pro-environmental or other relevant behaviours
If you have undertaken research in this area or know of studies addressing one or all three aspects (e.g also studies covering similar
ground in health education, etc.), please let me know asap.
Please feel free to circulate this request to others.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Jutta Nikel
