Hi Peter,
You may try creating a course menu button of 'External Link' type and
entering the
http://bbsiteAddress/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp?tab=courses&url=/bin/co
mmon/course.pl?course_id=_3458_1" target="_top as URL. The http part can
be copied from course site link under 'My Courses'.

Subject: Moving to a new course site
Sorry to those who realise I have asked this before but I was surprised
that no-one said I had missed the obvious, or may be I just did not
explain what I wanted to do!
In a pretty much normal Blackboard course I want to have an option in
the left-hand menu bar that opens a new blackboard course. However
rather than having that open within the right hand content window
(nested as it were) I want it to completely overwrite the active window.
Can anyone suggest how to do that please?
Peter
