Terry,
I believe this is the designed way of how group VC & Chat should
function, so that group members can take control of their VC & Chat.

Subject: VC Privileges query (7.1)
I think I have discovered that student privileges for the Virtual
Classroom & Chat are dependent upon whether the session takes place
within a Group or on a class-wide basis. This is a surprise to me! I
can't find anything about this in the manual, but I'm maybe missing
something obvious......
When VC or Chat are set up as a Group function any group member
(including students) appears to be able to record sessions & delete the
archives.
However, when the VC or Chat are created and accessed via the
Communications menu (i.e. as class-wide) then management privileges are
retained by the Instructor.
Has anyone else come across this? Is it documented anywhere? Is it just
me?
