Dear colleagues,
Having been back from an interesting talk on neurovisceral AIP attacks
given by a clinician, I should forward to the list questions which came
up during discussion:
1. Why do women suffer far more AIP attacks than man do ?
2. Why are AIP attacks uncommon during childhood (with very rare
exceptions) ?
3. Has a KO mouse model for AIP been established ?
I have just checked our database for Hoesch test requests over the
preceding ten months. They all came from Internal Medicine. Neither
neurologists nor surgeons requested it. I will think of it separately ...
Best regards,
Mike
