Dear Carol,
I can't help but your request is very timely - the next Professional
Zooarchaeology Group meeting is now being advertised - see link below - and
will be on fish identification. Why not become a member (it's free!) and
take your fishes on a day trip to Bradford!

All the best,
Naomi

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any publications/web sites which contain
illustrations of fish skulls - in particular the dentary, pre-maxilla,
maxilla and articular bones.

I have three elements which for which I can find no illustrations with
which to identify down to species. They are from a medieval site at
Ovingdean in East Sussex and any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Many thanks
