Dear all,
Does anyone out there know much about Scandinavian biogeography? I'm having
trouble finding anything in detail on the historic ranges of cervids in
Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. I'm interested in red deer (Cervus
elaphus), reindeer (Rangifer tarandus), and European elk (Alces alces),
particularly in the Viking Age- medieval period, but if anyone knows of
material from a different period, then that would be a good start. Any
publications or names that might help would be very gratefully received.
Thanks
Steve Ashby
