Hi Dori,
I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of you taking the trouble
to put together your notes on the conference in this way. These
perhaps stand in stark contrast to a previous rant, by being well
considered and thoughtful, and intended to be helpful. I hope your
students will find your comments helpful, though perhaps we now all
await some proceedings where we can actually read the many
presentations that we were unable to attend!

Well, you are most welcome to this community. I particularly take
heart from your comments about the insularity of much design
thinking. Wonderground delegates represented a fairly wide spectrum
of disciplines, though we all have much to learn from others. I have
long hoped that DRS and its events would attract a diverse range of
speakers.
And it was nice to meet you.
David
