Design Historian, Full Time, Assistant Professor.
The Department of Art History invites applications for a position in
the history of design, the designed environment, or digital media, to
begin August 16, 2007. Candidates should be prepared to teach a
two-semester survey history of design, and be engaged with the study
of design within the broader fields of visual and cultural history.
In addition, candidates are actively sought with interests in the
fields of Museum Studies and Historic Preservation, to engage with
the department's initiatives in those areas. Applicants should have
Ph.D. in hand by August 15, 2007, and should show accomplishment and
promise in teaching and research, appropriate to their experience.
